As schools and districts across the State of Alaska move to fully implement their new Educator Effectiveness Systems, attention needs to be turned to how to ensure quality and fidelity in the implementation.
Issues to be considered will include: training and development for capacity building, providing actionable feedback, and monitoring and evaluating implementation efforts.
This working conference will highlight approaches to ensure quality and fidelity during implementation using national, state, and local examples.

- To investigate models for building capacity through targeted training and development.
- To draw the link between educator effectiveness and professional development using feedback appropriately.
- To consider implementation monitoring approaches and methods to ensure quality and fidelity.
- To explore “practice-based examples” from national, state, and local efforts across the United States.
